Cope-ing with COSTLY Decisions
COSTLY decisions - "If we don't have it, we don't spend it"!!!!!!!!!!
No "fancy financial rigs" that cause indebtedness to this generation and future generations should be considered.
STOP STOP STOP
Pay off the "School indebtedness" before plunging Rhea County citizens into any more DEBT.
1. Spring City Elementary NOT PAID
2. Graysville Elementary NOT PAID
3. Rhea Medical Center Paying it's way now, but the "burden of this project is on the "backs of the Rhea Taxpayers, if "revenues" from the hospital are not sufficient to cover the DEBT
TOO MUCH OUTSTANDING DEBT. Make due with what is in place.
What we can afford, is what is offered to those who go to "Public School". If you don't like the "Public Schools", find what you like and pay for it.
If you want to "contribute" to a "special fund", when you pay your property tax, just "designate your contribution" and it will be set aside. You can "contribute" to the "Educational Building Fund",(but, one word of caution, as with the National Social Security system, it is dangerous to have a "pot of money" controlled by the government) when the balance in that Fund is sufficient to pay for the "building", then the School Board may proceed. Folks who want to "contribute" are free to do so, but "shackling" this generation and future generations with this DEBT, is MORALLY WRONG.
Making DEBTS by the government for "years to come" was never "sanctioned" by the Founders of this Beloved Nation. "If we don't have it, we don't spend it."
